I’m a first-year PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Machine Learning, at Georgia Tech in the SIGNAL Lab under Dr. Sriram Vishwanath.

My research focuses on self-supervised representation learning and flow matching for scientific imaging and video data.

In my free time, my hobbies include: Archery, Reading, Gym, and Anime/Manga. I also like going to the beach and playing volleyball and trying interesting ice cream and boba flavors.

My favorite author is Ursula K. Le Guin. My favorite anime are 12 Kingdoms and Attack on Titan. Feel free to contact me at: opatil31@gatech.edu
